The process to booking your wedding stationery

Step One

Fill in my wedding quote form with your wedding date and stationery requirements for your day. I will email through individual pricing for all items and let you know how the print schedule is looking for your estimated delivery date. I book the print schedule many months in advance, so always recommend you enquire early to avoid disappointment.

Step Two

If after you receive the initial email, you have any questions let me know and I’ll be sure to answer them. To proceed with Tumbleweed Press, I will next email you a contract outlining all the items and details in your wedding stationery suite. Simply return this, with your 30% deposit, and you will have booked your space in our print schedule. You can book this as early as you like, safe in the knowledge your stationery is now under control! Time to relax the fun part is about to begin. I will next be in touch with all the details in regard to design of your stationery.

Design (allow 3-6+ weeks)

Step Three

Once you have chosen Tumbleweed Press as your stationer, you will have access to our design gallery. These designs are a guideline as to the style, layout and imagery that you may wish to include. I use your preferences and create an customised design that reflects you and the style of your day.

To start the design process, I send you a short list of details we need. The invitation is designed first, and once the style of this is chosen, all other stationery items will be designed to complement.

I will create a minimum of three invitation designs, which are sent as a PDF proof. You provide feedback, alterations are made and another proof is issued. You can make as many changes as you wish along the way. Currently I do not limit the number of proofs you receive, but numerous proofs may extend the date of delivery.

Step Four

Once the designs are finalised for all stationery items, you will receive a Print Approval. This is a final PDF file of all details, including paper selection, ink colours and final quantities. You have one final check through, then confirm and return the Print Approval.

Printing & Finishing (2-3 weeks)

Step Five

The final invoice is sent, which will reflect any alterations from the original quote. Final payment is required before printing commences. I then prepare printing plates, mix ink colours, trim paper and start the letterpress printing. Once all stationery is printed, it is trimmed, each individual card is quality checked to ensure our high standard of printing is met. Then any finishing (envelope liners, belly bands, assembly of items) is undertaken.

All stationery is wrapped up with great care into beautiful boxes, and then securely packaged for shipping directly to you.

New Zealand

Complimentary shipping of all wedding stationery within New Zealand is sent by next day Courier.

Australia

International courier to Australia takes 2-5 days. One complimentary shipping to Australia is included with all wedding orders.
